Acid Body: The Cancer Magnet
Why are we so passionate about alkaline foods, alkaline diet, and alkaline lifestyle? The question should be: Why shouldn’t we? Scientific evidence and clinical research that sustain the health benefits of maintaining an alkaline balance in our body are literally mounting. All around the world, and for the longest time, experts have recognized the disease preventive properties of a balanced nutrition and healthy lifestyle.
But, in many ways, evolution and development, have played against our best interets. In our modern world we live in the middle of a bombardment of advertising from two main front lines: the food industry, and the pharmaceutical industry. You can confirm my theory just by watching a commercial segment in daytime TV. With maybe one or two exceptions, every other ad you see will be either for food or medicine (including personal care products). Eat, eat, eat, then… not IF, but WHEN you get sick, just cover the symptoms with medicine. It will have side effects, sure, but you can also cover those with some more medicines. Has anybody stopped and asked “How is this working out for us?” Because I really think it isn’t.
The advertised food is not food from nature, but from industrial processes. And these are foods that, for the most part, have acidifying effects in our body, making us more vulnerable to disease, which leads us to needing medicine. Nature doesn’t have a budget for advertising, but it does have an answer for both needs: feeding us, and keeping us healthy. Brilliant!!
An acid body is a magnet for sickness, disease, cancer and aging. Eating more alkaline foods helps shift your body’s pH and oxygenates your system. Alkaline foods keep your body healthy and functioning correctly, preventing cancer.
You become what you eat.
Acid foods cause sickness, disease, cancer and aging.
Healthy tissues are alkaline.
Cancerous tissues are acidic.
The pH scale is from 0 to 14, with numbers below 7 acidic (low on oxygen) and numbers above 7 alkaline. The blood, lymph and cerebral spinal fluid in the human body are designed to be slightly alkaline at a pH of 7.4. At a pH slightly above 7.4 cancer cells become dormant and at pH 8.5 cancer cells will die while healthy cells will live.
There are two types of acid and alkaline foods:
1) Acid or alkaline foods, meaning how much acid or alkaline the foods contain.
2) Acid or alkaline ‘forming’ foods, meaning the pH condition foods cause in the body after being digested.
Acidic conditions inhibit nerve action whereas alkalinity stimulates nerve action. Cold showers make the blood alkaline, while hot showers make the blood acid. A balanced diet helps to maintain the pH balance of the blood. Results however take more than a couple of days to show up. If blood develops a more acidic condition, then the body will inevitably deposit the excess acid to another area of the body so that the blood will be able to maintain an alkaline condition. As this cycle continues, these areas will increase in acidity and some cells will die. The dead cells will then turn into acids.
Some cells may adapt and instead of dying as normal cells do in a acid environment, they will survive by becoming abnormal. These abnormal cells are known as malignant cells. Malignant cells do not correspond with brain function nor with our DNA memory code. Malignant cells grow indefinitely and without order.
This is cancer, and cancer develops in the following stages:
1. The ingestion of numerous acid forming foods, fatty foods, refined foods, carcinogenic substances such as nitrates, and chemically treated foods. X-ray scans also contribute.
2. Constipation is increased.
3. An increase of acidity in the blood. This stage causes an increase of white cells and a decrease of red cells, which is the beginning of leukemia.
4. An increase of acidity in the extra cellular fluids.
5. An increase of acidity into the intracellular fluids.
6. The birth of malignant cells. This stage of cancer is known as ‘initiation’.
7. Further ingestion of multiple acid foods. Traditional treatment includes high levels of radiation, chemicals and drugs. This stage is called ‘cancer promotion’.

Let’s change the statistics, and stop this epidemic of degenerative diseases. Let’s make cancer a thing of the past. We have the power to maintain health in our body. We just need to learn how to do it. My first suggestion is don’t believe advertising, their interest is not your health but their bottom line. Read the small print, the back of the package and not the front, literally.
Secondly, eat what nature has to offer. I recently heard Dr. John Moore, a well respected chiropractor in Florida say: “If it wasn’t around 200 years ago, most likely it’s not good for you.” I thought that was a fantastic way of putting it.
