Well, we did it! After years of struggling with trying to make a go of leveraging Direct Sales companies to add an income stream that we wanted to have after the financial crisis of 2008.

Ask most athletes to name some key minerals for human performance nutrition and you’ll probably find calcium, iron, zinc and even chromium popping up in their lists. But they are unlikely to mention magnesium. Despite magnesium’s pivotal role in energy production, many coaches and athletes remain unaware of its critical importance in maintaining health and performance.
Indeed, dietary intakes of magnesium in the West have declined to less than half of those recorded 100 years ago, and are still falling.Yet many scientists believe that the amount of magnesium required for optimum health has been underestimated in the past, and now new research suggests that even small shortfalls in magnesium intake can seriously impair athletic performance.Clearly, magnesium nutrition is an area that no serious athlete can afford to overlook

From Dr. Marthin Botha:
Metabolic Acidosis – The Main Cause of Disease
We live or die at the cellular level.
As human life is dependent on Oxygen, and to remain healthy and alive all the cells (over 30+Trillion of them) that make up the human body, must be slightly alkaline in order to utilise the Oxygen. As each cell, in the presence of Oxygen performs its task of respiration (the chemical and physical process in which oxygen is delivered to tissues or cells in an organism), it also creates acidic end products that are used for energy and function. The residue of these products and functions is known as metabolic wastes, and these are acidic in nature. This acidic waste must not be allowed to build up. One example of the waste build-up is the often painful lactic acid which is created through extreme exercise. The body will go to great lengths to neutralize and detoxify these acids before they act as poisons in and around the cell, ultimately changing the environment of the cell.

Water you made of?!!
On the Paleo diet, it’s easy to focus on food – what foods and how much to eat, when to eat them, (or not to eat them), and where to get them. But food isn’t the only kind of nourishment that you get through your mouth: water is just as important, if not more so. By weight, the human body is more than 50% water, and we need it for everything from good digestion to healthy skin. This means that dehydration and overhydration both have serious health consequences, and water contaminated with any kind of toxins or chemicals will spread the damage through every cell in your body. The quantity and the quality of water you drink can be just as important as the food you eat – but unfortunately, there’s just as much misguided “common knowledge” about water as there is about food.
